Congratulations to Kate Coleman Lenehan who finished in 21st place at World Cup #4 in Drzonkow Poland and in doing so has now qualified for World Cup Final in late June 2017.
Kate recorded a swim time of 2:20, a fencing ranking round of 16 victories, 299 riding points and a 13:12 on the combined.
Rflecting on the competition Coleman Lenehan said “The semi was very tough and took a lot out of me so I’m just delighted to have done what I needed to do in order to qualify for the World Cup Final in Lithuania. I still have a lot I can improve on so hopefully I’ll be even stronger going into that event.”
Pentathlon Ireland CEO Darragh Cunningham said “Kate has worked extremely hard this year. It hasn’t been easy for her travelling to 2 World Cup events alone but she has shown a real determination and has gotten her rewards. We’re all delighted for her and we know there is more to come from her”.
