HOW/WHEN YOU STARTED Modern Pentathlon: I competed at Modern Pentathlon from 2004-2006 having been drawn into the sport through Pony Club and then picked up the sport again in 2013 at senior level. I enjoy the multi-sport environment and the ability to constantly challenge your own personal best results.
SPORTING HERO’S: Until I was 13 I wanted to be a ballerina so my ‘sporting hero’ when I was young was Darcey Bussell. I haven’t really had one since then.
FAVOURITE EVENT: Riding and in training swimming
SUPERSTITIONS: None – you just have to realise that you can only do your best and be responsible for your own performance – you have no control over how others might perform on the day – sometimes you win and sometimes you lose but you learn something from every competition.
