After back to back Silver medals in Sarasota and Cairo, the Irish continue on the UIPM World Cup tour in Rome this week. With Olympic qualification points up for grabs the team will be fighting hard to get to the summit.
Ireland field a strong team in World Cup #3 with a full complement of four for the women’s competition and two entrants in the men’s.
High Performance Director Andy McKenzie is positive about the team preparations “World Cup 3 is another step in Natalya and Arthur’s road to Rio journey. We have also brought another four athletes with us who are on our development programme to give them more experience. We are not competing in the mixed relay this time, but the guys are in great form and are looking forward to a good competition”
