Pentathlon Ireland is pleased to inform its membership that Tom O’Brien will be taking up the position of Development Coach with immediate effect.

Tom is an accomplished Pentathlete who has competed with distinction in international pentathlon, fencing and laser/run championships.

His initial brief will include working with Radu Andrei, who is returning to his native Romania at the end of the year, to ensure a smooth transition of the services provided for pentathletes through the Brian Boru Fencing Club.

Tom’s appointment will positively impact on Pentathlon Ireland’s goal, as stated in the Strategic Plan, of identifying and nurturing the next generation of Irish pentathletes.
